What is love?

January 4th, 2009

Coooeee, everyone!

“Love is the divine vitality that everywhere produces and restores life.  To each and every one of us, it gives the power of working miracles”.          - Lydia M. Child.

You GOT it, Lydia, dear lady!   You sure DID.  Miracles occur, in small or large ways, EVERY day of our existence — we just have to be aware within ourselves, to witness them when they happen.

When writing and presenting ceremonies for wonderful people, no matter what the ceremony is celebrating, I constantly experience the unlimited essence of LOVE.  It’s why I am a celebrant - I am participating in the highest vibrational emotion one can feel whilst here on Mother Earth.

Today, as we are stepping into 2009, I wish you all the awareness to see the miracles, and celebrate them deeply.

Much love, peace and Light,

Spring is coming …..

July 28th, 2008

I’m excited!  I’ve been watching old Sol move around the horizon as he does during the seasonal changes …. and now, he’s beginning to peek around the edge of the unit near my home each morning ….. he’s on his way back!!!

That means warmer days, friends ….. gorgeous sunrise weddings, fresh air, the water sparkling, and the bride and groom and their guests sparkling also!

I can’t wait —- I look forward to creating a wonderful ceremony full of love, laughter and deep meaning for my couples.  I look forward to meeting new people, and sharing the most honest and loving moments of their lives.  I look forward to connecting with all, in a true way.

Remember the Sanskrit proverb:

“For yesterday is but a dream, abd tomorrow is only a vision:

But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,

And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Look well, therefore, to this day.”

Weddings in Winter? Why not??! :)

July 13th, 2008

Cooooeee everyone, and welcome to the Sunshine Coast ….. in winter!

Devinely sunny days with fresh, crisp air ….. and deliciously crispy nights, just right for cuddling up on your honeymoon!

The ocean is magnificent, clad in wonderful shades which change hour by hour with the light …. and the sunsets?!  AMAZING!  Setting behind the Glasshouse Mountains, and outlining them in sharp cut-out designs, oranges fading into dusky pinks, then purples, and finally ….. the soft blackness.  Has to be seen!

Why not get married in Winter?  Imagine the differences ….. instead of bare shoulders, gowns with light, softly coloured pashminis, braziers set into the sand along with candles and flags - what a delicious scene.

Expand your thinking - be different.

Love, peace and Light,
